Curbside Pickup Hours Main. The Wareham Garden Clubs finest floral designers will be on hand June 11 and 12 to help the Wareham Free Library celebrate its birthday. The event titled Remember Back When is the result of a partnership between the Garden Club the Wareham Historical Society and the library.
The Wareham Free Librarys Long-Range Plan represents the benefits of fully-funded library service. Although I would like to see this plan implemented I realize that my preferred funding goal 1 of the municipal budget may not come in the presented timeline given Warehams. The Wareham Free Library will be hosting Art for a Cause an exhibition of international labor posters from the collection of Stephen Lewis from July 2 through July 30. Roughly 25 posters will be on display. The posters address issues including the Spanish Civil War anti-fascism independence and censorship among others.
Makepeace Company has generously offered to help the Wareham Library Foundation bridge the gap in essential funding for the Wareham Free Library. Makepeace will match all donations to our Bridge the Gap Fund up to 10000 between now and Friday April 9 which is the end of National Library Week. George Ripley director of the Wareham Free Library has accepted a new position in Westport.
